Today, an article went viral in my circle of friends.
Taking Huasheng Green Energy Linyou Park as the Prototype, the Hit Show No.1 Document on CCTV Depicts the Long History of Rural Reform 
With a second look, I was surprised to find the modules produced by RaySolar on the TV show.

When contacting the person in charge of the greenhouse, I was told that,

At that moment, a saying came to my mind,
I want to keep a low profile, but my competence just won’t allow that.
Without further ado, let’s see how Secretary Fang introduced the PV modules on the TV show.
What a great advertisement by Secretary Fang! Great!

No.1 Document was shot at Xunyi County which is located in the hilly and gully region of Loess Plateau at Northwest Shanxi Province. The county mainly features rock and mountain landform and Loess Plateau gully landform. At an altitude of 1,300 to 1,855 meters, its annual rainfall is 589.4 millimeters, its annual forest-free days 197 days and annual sunshine time 2,270.4 hours. The people there mainly rely on traditional agriculture. But due to its location in the mountainous area, the conditions for irrigation and water conservancy as well as mechanization are relatively poor, and the rainfall is relatively low. As a result, the agricultural production mostly depends on the natural conditions and people’s economic income is generally very low.
Taking the climatic advantage of the long sunshine time, the farmers can install PV panels on the PV greenhouse, planting in the greenhouse and generating power above. In this way, they can earn two kinds of income from one piece of land. The PV greenhouses have not only become an important way for the local government to increase revenue, but also helped some farmers get out of poverty through PV agriculture.
The PV-agriculture integration project combines solar power generation, modern agriculture planting and breeding and high-efficiency facility agriculture. On the one hand, the solar PV system can utilize the space above the farmland, which spares the farmland and thus generates power at a reduced cost; on the other hand, the double-glass modules have a flexible light transmittance performance, which means the main light source needed by animals and plants in their growth as well as the infrared light can get through, thus keeping the heat, increasing the temperature inside the greenhouse, helping the growth of animals and plants in winter, advancing the development of agriculture and increasing the income of farmers.
Unlike single-glass modules, the double-glass modules, thanks to their flexible light transmittance, can ensure even illumination for all the plants inside the greenhouse, and feature excellent thermal insulation. More importantly, the double-glass modules, comparing with traditional rear panels, boast higher abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and strength and can completely avoid the appearance of snail-shape patterns. In addition, the unframed design can avoid PID from the source. After a year of comparison and observation of the power generation data, it is found that the power generated per megawatt of double-glass modules is 3.26% more than that of single-glass modules. With the same initial investment, the agricultural greenhouses using double-glass modules have a higher internal rate of returns and lower cost per kWh of power. As a result, the double-glass modules are more favored by the customers.
